Medeama Sporting Club midfield dynamo Justice Blay says Ghana played their heart -out in their international friendly against Namibia.
The Black Stars B were beaten by Namibia in an invitational game yesterday at the Sam Nijoma Stadium in Windhoek.
The game was to honor the President of the Republic of Namibia, His Excellency Hage Gottfried Geingbo.
Ghana were beaten 4:2 on penalty shootouts after the game ended 1:1 with Ashantigold goal poacher Shafiu Mumuni getting the equalizer for Ghana.
Justice Blay who had a first team selection in an interview with Kyfilla.com after the defeat to Namibia said the players on the field played their heart- out but the defeat was unfortunate.
” We played our heart out but unfortunately we lost to them on penalty shootouts.
He however entreats Ghanaians to continue supporting the team and the players especially to win laurels for the country.
