[ads1]President and Board Chairman of the Ghana Rugby Union, Herbert Mensah has revealed his office stands in solidarity with the people of Nigeria following protests over EndSars which has caused several lost of lives and properties.
The people of Nigeria took to the streets starting October 8, 2020 to protest against Nigeria’s controversial police unit called the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (Sars).[ads2]
The protests turned bloody on Tuesday, October 20, after armed uniformed officers reportedly opened fire on protestors at the commercial hub of Lagos. News from Nigeria’s Punch newspaper claims, about 43 protesters and six policemen lost their lives in Tuesday’s protest.
The protestors are calling for the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police to be disband, which has since been disbanded by the government.

According to Herbert Mensah, the President of the Ghana Rugby Union, his association stands with the people of Nigeria and shared these kind words.
