Arsenal fans can forget about the club sacking Arsene Wenger.
According to LE10Sport, the Gunners hierarchy will not terminate the Frenchman’s contract due to his status as a club icon.
Despite protests from the fans calling for him to leave the club last summer, Wenger instead penned a two-year extension.
Things haven’t improved much over the last six months as the north London club let set to once again miss out on the top-four.
Even if Wenger’s side fail to win Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Manchester City, or the Europa League, the Frenchman will still be in charge of his future.
