Karela United Public Relations Officer, Samuel Enyan known in the media circles as Riquelme says management of the team are disappointed in their captain Godfred Saka for saying they have not been paid for the past three months.
Saka as earlier reported by Kyfilla.com revealed that, players of the Ayinase based team are yet to receive a salary for the past three months which has already sarked hot debate in the media circles.
Speaking to Takoradi based Aseda FM, Enyan stated emphatically that, management of the team are disappointed in their captain for passing such an unfortunate comment which according to him is a disgrace to the team.
” I think what Saka said was unfortunate and we as management are very disappointed in him for passing such a comment”, he said.
” I think as a team we have done well by paying their five months salaries even though football activities in the country has been put on hold.
“The truncation of the league together with the demise of our Chief Executive Officer, late Senator Brigidi is affecting us badly but we have been paying them since the league was truncated”, he added.
Meanwhile, Kyfilla.com understands, the funeral rites of the late Senator Brigidi comes off this weekend at Bayelsa state in Nigeria and the team have sent a delegation for the final funeral rites.
