Twelve persons have been reported dead in a horrible accident on the Bibiani-Bekwai road in the Western North Region on Monday.
The terrible accident is said to have occurred following a head-on collision between a Kumasi-bound Metro Mass transit bus and a Sprinter bus at Sefwi Anhwiaso.[ads2]
The incident occurred at 10:00am on Monday, according to reporters.
An eyewitness accounted that, “the Metro bus was heading to Wiawso when it collided with the Sprinter bus which was also heading to Kumasi from Bopa.”[ads3]
Bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Anhwiaso community and Bibiani Government hospital morgues.
Majority of those injured have been transported to the Bibiani government hospital for treatment..[ads5]
