Chiefs of Southern Volta and Duamenfa Foundation honours the Volta Regional Director of Sports of the National Sports Authority, Mr Kwame Amponfi Jnr.
The Volta Regional Director of Sports of the National Sports Authority, Mr Kwame Amponfi Jnr, was on Friday 5th October 2018 honoured with Ram and Drinks by the Executive President/CEO and Management of Duamenefa Foundation; initiators of the Duamenefa Super Gala and Marathon of Volta South,Ghana.

The Generous Gift made up of Ram and Drinks which were presented to Mr Amponfi Jnr at the Ho Sports Stadium, was in appreciation of his physical presence and holistic support for the success of the 2018 Edition of the Well Planned And Attended Four Month Super Gala And Marathon held in the Volta South of Ghana.
Meanwhile, in separate Letters, the Dufia(Divisional Chief ) of Keta Traditional Area(Togbui James Ocloo) and the Divisional Chief Of Whuti/ Anlo Traditional Area(Togbui Kpemini Gawu)for the Awormefia Togbui Sri III,Paramount King Of Anlo Kingdom, as well as,the Chairman Of the Dzodze Traditional Area(Togbui Ege II )for the Divisional Chief Of Dzodze(Togbui Adzofia -Overlord OF Fifty-two Chiefs OF KETU Traditional Area ) , have all, on behalf of the Chiefs, Queens and the Good People of Their Respective Traditional Areas , highly Commended Mr Kwame Amponfi Jnr for his Excellent Support and Planned Elevation of the Duamenefa Super Gala And Marathon to a Regional Status Sports Event for the maximisation of its benefits by the entire Citizens of the Volta Region.
Mr Amponfi Jnr while appreciating the Excellent Gifts(Ram and Drinks) as well as the Commendation Letters of the Eminent Chiefs, promised continued dedicated service and performance to the Good People of the Volta Region.
The Regional Director of Sports hinted of forwarding the Ram to his Superior in ACCRA while his Staff also enjoy the Drinks in recognition of their commitment to his acknowledged performance in the Region.
Mr Kwame Amponfi Jnr was full of praise for the Chiefs of Southern Volta and the Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation;Mr Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe . He promised to let all his Stakeholders know of the Honour done him,which he thinks is worthy of emulation by other Well Meaning Ghanaians.
The Super Gala was a Four Month Football Event which started in June and ended on the 15th of September 2018. The Gala involved 77 Football Clubs with 4 Female Teams. The Clubs were drawn from Southern Volta and the Republic of Togo. A total of 133 Matches were played at;Keta,Dzodze, Abor, Atiavi, Denu, Weta, Afife,Anlo Afiadenyigba and Agbozume Districts and Municipal. Nucleus Teams have been selected from the 4 Month Football Super Gala for further Competitions and affiliation to Senior Divisional Football Clubs locally and abroad.
The Marathon equally involved 7 7 Athletes including 21 Females who covered distances of 25 and 19 km from Denu and Wudoabo to Dzodze respectively. Some good marathon runners have been selected for National and International Competitions
The Delegation of Four who were sent to present the Gifts from the CEO and Management Of the Duamenefa Foundation/Fafa Radio and the Chiefs, have since left Ho, the Volta Regional Capital for DZODZE(Volta South).
