As part of the contributions geared revamping of table tennis in Sekondi-Takoradi, Western Region Table Tennis Association, Miksi and Ghana Education Service (Sekondi-Takoradi) metropolis made a follow up to schools who participated in the recent table tennis clinic dubbed “impacting basics of table tennis to the young ones” in Sekondi.
Children who took part in the clinic were given products from Miksi. Schools heads and representatives who attended the program had lengthy interactions with the visiting team towards how the game will be revamp.
Finally the team was welcomed by the director of National Sports Authority (Sekondi) Mr. Jeffery Hanzam at his office. He expressed his profound gratitude for the tremendous work done especially the massive support MIKSI has given the Western Region table tennis Association. He then called for a similar table tennis clinic to be organized in other communities.
However, present during the visitation were Western regional Metro Physical Education Coordinator [G.E.S] Victor Farmeh,Ismael Armah, the organizer of the association, Isaac Essel, coach for Western Regional Table Tennis Association and Romeo Ansah, a member of the aforesaid association.
Meanwhile, Miski in collaboration with the Western Regional Table Tennis Association and the Ghana Education Service will have three (3) phases for the table tennis clinic program for basic schools in Western Region. In this program we intend to equip schools with table tennis tables and rackets.
