The Western Regional Football Association Division Two League which was initial slated to commence this weekend has been postponed to next week.
A meeting was held today at the Western Regional Football Association’s office at the Sekondi Gyendu Park to know the clubs readiness for the start of the league.
However, it appeared that most teams have not settled their affiliation fees and have not finished registering their players for the league season.
The clubs then pleaded for fourteen days to help process things faster but was only granted one week to faster the proceedings for the commencement of the much awaited league season.
This means that Sekondi Eleven Wise opening fixture against new entrants Givova Sporting Academy and Oilcity FC’s encounter with Young Barca FC will be played on next week Saturday [ 5th May,2018] whiles Holy City FC against Bis Paradise and Railstars against Westlandes continues the following day[ Sunday, 6th May,2018].
