The Confederation of African Football {CAF} has banned the Western Regional Referees Association chairman Cecil Fletcher for 10 years.
The renowned Ghanaian referee was banned by the Disciplinary Committee of CAF for involving in match fixing which was captured in the Anas Aremeyaw Anas expose’ in hold of corrupt practices in the Ghana and African football at large.
He was banned together with seven other Ghanaian referees who were captured in the Anas video involving themselves in corrupt scandals. Below is the release from CAF.
