The Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, George Amoako has confirmed that his outfit have agreed to open negotiations with Zesco United for the transfer of deadly goal Songne Yacouba.
The Ndola based club officially wrote to the management of the Porcupine Warriors for the availability of Burkinabe import Songne Yacouba for a possible transfer move.
Management of Asante Kotoko, just after receiving the letter held a meeting to decide on whether to start a negotiations with the Zegalacticos for the transfer of the former Stade Malian forward.
Speaking to Kumasi based Oyerepa FM, George Amoako disclosed that, Management of Asante Kotoko have agreed to open negotiations with the seven times Zambian Premier League Champions.
” After a management meeting, we have agreed to open negotiations with Zesco United, its the only official interest I know off”, he said.
” We have replied them as expected and waiting for an offer then we can also quote how much we want to sell him.
” Don’t forget Sogne Yacouba is our priceless asset which we have no option but to allow him leave so they should have in mind that he will not go cheap.
” Lets wait for what they will table before us then we start from there.
” As the CEO the only club that has written to us and we have also agreed to negotiate with is Zesco United”, he concluded.
Songne Yacouba joined the Porcupine Warriors on a two-year deal from Stade Malian and has been phenomenal since joining the Kumasi based team last year.
