Karela United captain Godfred Saka says players of the Ayinase based team have not been paid for the past three months.
According to Saka, players of the Ghana Premier League debutant are suffering after the demise of their bank roller, late Senator Cobbinah Brigidi who died months ago in the United Kingdom.
“Things have been hard for us since the demise of our owner and bankroller Senator Brigidi”, he told Kumasi based Metro FM.
“We’re really suffering as players of Karela United because for three months now we have not been paid and Christmas is also approaching.
“We’re not being paid but we have to concentrate on our careers because if you think about it too much you’ll be killing your own career.
“We’re hoping that after the burial of our bankroller things will improve.
