Karela United goal poacher and captain William Opoku Mensah is excited to make his debut appearance for the Black Stars B against Namibia last Saturday.
Namibia on Saturday 24th November, 2018 hosted Ghana in a friendly match to honor their President, His Excellency Hage Gottfried Geingbo at Windhoek.
Shafiu Mumuni had the equalizer for Ghana in the second half after Namibia were leading by a goal to nil.
The game ended in a 1:1 stalemate but Namibia won 4:2 on penalty shootouts to clinch the Geingbo Cup.
Opoku Mensah was introduced to the game in the second half of the cagey encounter and had a blistering performance for coach Maxwell Konadu’ side.
On his Facebook wall, the former Sekondi Eleven Wise attacker expressed his excitement after the game saying ” I thank God for making my debut for Ghana far away in Windhoek, Namibia.
The team are expected to arrive in Ghana from Namibia one Sunday 25th November,2018 .
