Former Asante Kotoko striker William Opoku Mensah was on target when Liberty Professionals whipped Elmina Sharks in week nineteen of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
The prolific attacker scored the final goal when the Scientific Soccer lads defeated Elmina Sharks 4:0 at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.[ads2]
It was the first home game for Liberty Professionals at Sogakope after switching from their favorite Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman.
Paul Kwame broke the deadlock in the 36th minute for Liberty Professionals before the first half break.[ads3]
The Scientific Soccer lads roared like a hunger lion in the second half where they scored three goals to win the game by 4:0
Simon Appiah scored from the spot in the 60th minute before Kweku Karikari made it 3:0 in the 8th minute.
William Opoku scored the final goal in the 89th minute, just three minutes after being introduced into the game.[ads4]
He joined Liberty Professionals in the mid-season as a free agent after leaving Asante Kotoko.
