Kofi Asmah has revealed Medeama Sporting Club’s 2-1 victory over Dreams Football Club in the Champions of Champions game at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium is a morale booster ahead of the Confederation of African Football Champions League round two qualifier against Guinean side Horoya AC.
The Tarkwa-based side host Horoya AC on the 17th September, 2023 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Two first half goals from man of the moment Jonathan Sowah was enough to seal victory for the Tarkwa-based side.
Speaking to the media at the post match press conference, Asmah who stood in as match day Captain in the absence of regular Captain Vincent Atinga believes that the win will put them in a better condition ahead of their game against Horoya AC in two weeks time.
“Our target now is to beat Horoya AC and play in the Group Stage ” – Medeama Sc President
“Oh yes it is true this game will help us to build our match fitness and also boots our confidence for the game against Horoya AC”.
