A woman who delivered a baby at the scene of an accident near Njeru, Uganda has been admitted to Jinja Hospital, where both she and her newborn are reported to be in good condition.
Dr. Michael Mulowooza, speaking on behalf of the hospital director, confirmed the news.
He stated that the mother and baby are receiving care from hospital staff and are doing well.
While declining to disclose details about the woman for ethical reasons, Dr. Mulowooza assured the public that both mother and child are in good health and being treated at Ward 2.
