The management of Midland Savings And Loans compensated the woman with a 3 bedroom apartment and an amount of cash not less than Ghc100,000 to avoid a suit from Patience Osafo, after a video of her being assaulted in their premises went viral.
The bank was heavily criticized on Social media with many calling on the government to shut down the bank.
Several people even started withdrawing all their monies from them in an effort to shut down their accounts in a way to punish the bank their own way.
