The Western Regional Minister, Hon. Kobby Okyere Darko Mensah has still not fulfilled his GHC 5,000 promise to Hasaacas Ladies for winning the NC Women’s Special Cup.
Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies 3-2 to win the maiden edition of the NC Special Women’s Cup.
On April 15, 2019, Hasaacas Ladies led by the Management team presented the NC Women’s Special Cup giant trophy to the Minister at his office in Sekondi where he boldly promised to support the team with GHC 5,000.
But after more than a week, www.kyfilla.com checks reveal that, the Management of the club are yet to receive the amount from the Minister.
The Member of Parliament for Takoradi Constituency, Honorable Kobby Okyere Darko Mensah has added to the promise areas to both Sekondi clubs.
Sekondi Eleven Wise was promised some amount when the club celebrated its centenary anniversary which after nearly two weeks is yet to be fulfilled. Eleven Wise close door neighbors, Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies have also joined the string of promises made by the regional Minister who assumed office just a month ago.
It’s rather worrying whether or not the minister is toying with these promised and is rather interested in the upward of these two traditional clubs with huge following in the region and the nation.
