The Western Regional Sports Committee working under the auspices of the Western Regional Coordinating Council, is set to hold it first ever Sports strategic workshop on Friday, May 31, 2019.
The workshop which will be held at the WRCC Residency is under the theme ” Awakening The Sports Economy in the Western Region” and is scheduled for 9:00AM to 3:00PM on the aforesaid date.
The Sports Strategic Workshop is the initiative by the newly inaugurated Western Regional Sports Committee, chaired by the DCE of Wassa East, Honorable Wilson Arthur, who double as the CEO of Wilsad Services and Skyy Media- the operators of Skyy Power FM, Westgold Radio and Westgold Recording Studio in Takoradi.
Meanwhile, the main speaker for the workshop is the Chief Executive Officer for the Ghana 2023 Project Team and a member of the National Sports Policy Review Committee and Consultant for the establishment of Ghana Sports Fund, Mr. Magnus Rex Danquah.
