Born Duke Yoofi Eyeson to Mr. Alex Sakyi Eyeson and Mrs Alberta Eyeson in Accra.
Yoofi Eyeson had his Basic Education Certificate Examination at St. Theresa School in Accra and Secondary Education at Mfantsipim School in the Central Region of Ghana completed in 2002.
The host of Keteke on Spice 91.9 FM dreamed of becoming a musician and dancer. He was part of Slim Buster’s Dancing Academy.
According to Yoofi Eyeson, he met Prime Eye, a radio presenter at Radio Gold in Accra in 2006 and Prime Eye introduced him to radio.
“Prime Eye brought me into Radio, I’m very grateful for the chance he gave me.” – Yoofi Eyeson said.
Ismael Fatau known popularly as Saint Odo at then Rite FM, Somanya brought Yoofi Eyeson to Takoradi’s Goodnews FM when he had a gig there from the former station(Rite FM).
Yoofi Eyeson rose through the ranks at Help FM under then General Manager Robert Jim Gadner[Bob Gee] and became the host of the station’s Mid-morning show and weekend’s countdown.
Fondly referred to as Candyman, Yoofi Eyeson moved to Kyzz FM as a co host on Ayikoo Ayikoo Drive with Mr. Prince Kwesi Dadzie (Omanhene).
He spent 3 years at Kyzz FM and joined Accra based, Agoo FM now Starr FM in 2014.
The 2017 Western Region Radio and Television Personality nominee returned to Kyzz FM 2014, and joined WestGold Radio as the host of the mid-morning show.
Yoofi Eyeson is now with Focus 1 Media(Beach 105.5 FM and Spice 91.9 FM) as the host of Wonsom Wonsom on Spice FM.
