Fast rising Ghanaian musician Zekay has cancelled his two main important shows due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the country.
According to Zekay, he was supposed to perform on the same show with rapper Ayesem in Sekondi and was billed to thrill fans at somewhere in the Eastern region – a show he described as very important in his career.

The Takoradi based jama artiste was recounting on how the Coronavirus outbreak has affected the showbiz industry and even his personal career.
“I was supposed to perform on two important shows this month [April] but it has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak. I was booked for these events but it has all been cancelled due to the pandemic. This disease has affected us”, Zekay told IdeasGH TV.

Asked whether he has someone financing his musical career and his aim of doing music and also why jama music, Zekay who holds masters degree in City Planning said, “am financing everything myself because I have the resources but even if it get to that difficult situation I know where to run for support.

“Am doing music not because of money but to entertain Ghanaians and the world at large. I want to push jama music to become a household music genre and also become the pioneer of jama music just like Reggie Rockston is to hip life”, he added.

Currently Zekay is out with two jama bangers Single One and Eda Odo Beeba which are enjoying massive airplay in the Western Region media space.
