The Ghana Volleyball Association as part of preparations towards the Zone 3 Volleyball Nations Cup to be held in Ghana, has on Thursday, June 27, 2019 inaugurated a Nine-Member Local Organizing Committee who will ensure a successful organization of the tournament.
The Local Organizing Committee have been tasked to seek for sponsorship and funds to host the tournament as well as accommodation for the various participating countries.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony in Accra, the President of the Ghana Volleyball Association, Mr. Paul Atchoe emphasized that nine countries will be participating in the tournament with the Lebanon House facilities in Accra to be used for the competition.
Countries that will be participating in the much awaiting tournament are Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin and Mali.
Meanwhile, the event has been scheduled for 2nd August and will end at August 9, 2019 with the participants expected to arrive in Ghana on August 1, 2019.
